The highest
example of a technical B/C on a traditional structure.  Vector
1000 has
pushed forward thetechnological features of Vector 840, the latter
being judged as one of the best B/C vests in the world. The perfect
distribution of air masses is paralleled by a number of construction
solutions that meet the requirements of the most active divers.
The bladder is in 1000 Denier Cordura. an incredibly tough and wear-resistant
material.  The
adjustable shoulder straps are 50 mm in size. The acetal resin rings,
stitched at their ends, are very large so that, even when wearing
thick Neoprene gloves, you can stick a finger into them. Four
large D-Rings are fitted on the shoulder straps, whereas two smaller
D-Rings are fastened at the chest level and two others are located
below the pockets. All of them are made of stainless steel. Quick
disconnect straps that can be adjusted from both sides are provided
over the waistband which features a Velcro closure and the A.C.S.
system to easily fit all body sizes. A second strap with adjustable
fastex has been inserted on the chest to keep the shoulder straps
in place even when holding heavy equipment. The large bellows pockets
were made to be open at the top along a curved line to facilitate
the natural use of their sturdy zipper. The adjustable backpack
features a neutrally buoyant padding. This B/C vest is equipped
with the Ergo LP Inflator,
integrated with the additional RE valve on the right shoulder, a
third RE and overpressure valve fitted at the bottom right Buoyancy
is promptly adjusted from any position to guarantee maximum safety.  Vector
1000 can be fastened to the tank by means of one or two quick adjust
straps; these are available both for the single (standard) and for
the double air tank (optional) sets.
